Dr. David L. Baker is an ophthalmologist, or eye surgeon, specializing in surgical and medical treatment of eye diseases. Our on-site ambulatory surgery center provides our patients the convenience of outpatient surgery right here in Conway, AR located close to Little Rock, Morrilton, Cabot, Russellville, Clinton, and other areas in central Arkansas.
At the Baker Ambulatory Surgery Center, Dr. Baker performs a variety of surgeries. Some of these procedures include no stitch cataract removal, correction of crossed eyes (strabismus), opening of plugged tear ducts (lacrimal duct probing), removal of excess skin on the eyelids (blepharoplasty), correction of drooping eyelids (ptosis repair), removal of lesions or abnormal growths on the eye (like a pterygium), and repair of inward or outward turning of the eyelids (entropion/ectropion repair).
Dr. Baker will also perform laser treatment procedures at Baker Ambulatory Surgery Center to help correct problems related to glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, opacities after cataract surgery, retinal holes, or retinal tears.
